Should I and if so What do you all recomend.Hey, I recently downloaded a game for my PC (Bioshock), I noticed that it came with a few features, the package. I am debateing if I should uninstall these temperaroly and try and 3rd software to see what it brings back in the scan. Both programs say my computer is healthy. Multiple scans and i have 0 error or problems. My anti-virus right now is McAfee Total Protection and i also have Malwarebytes as a 2nd security feature (i was told it is compatable with most ani-virus software and is effective to help get extra things your main software misses). Then it went normal and smooth, then it repeated about 3 more times and then my pc crashed. About 2 minutes during the play time the game froze for about 2 seconds, then I got a black screen.
I Also thought, maybe i should try a game i played in the past that i never had issues with that is also NOT in Early acess to see how it performs. I close IE and tried again, same thing happend. I opened Internet Explorer and opend my bookmark tab, clicked on one of those links and every single link in that folder opened up in its on tab. Im starting to think i may have a virus with what has happend to my pc today. The suite says that I am up to date, Rapter AMD Gaming Evolved App) says my GPU isnt supported for Automatic Updates, and 3D Mark says my driver isnt supported. There is a 15.6 BETA driver on AMD's website, I would like to try that driver but apparently I do not know how to properly update it. The driver that comes with the Suite is version 14.501. I have since sucsessfully uninstalled my Video driver and the Catalyst Suite Porgram and reinstalled. Too bad it doesnt come with Driver Booster (or similar) as I thought the software was very conveinent. After my licence ran out i switched to McAfee Total Protection and I am happy with it. But with these performence issues I have been having, I am thinking there must be some programs, drivers, or something that is limiting my PC to its fullest potential.Īnd I have had Driver Booster from Advanced System Care Ultimate Edition. Though my CPU isnt a true 8-Core CPU, it is basicly a 4-core with 4 vitual cores.so I hear from many people. My CPU was preinstalled with my barebones kit I got from CyberPC. And No, I never installed the Dual-Core Optimizer that I am aware.
